I've played soccer my whole life. Coming up through club and high school, figuring out the recruiting process was confusing and disorganized. Years later, talking to college staffs, I realized they were wrestling with their own version of that same chaos from the other side of the table.
I spent the last four years as a software engineer at Meta. But I kept coming back to soccer, and to one idea: the people running college programs deserve tools built for how they actually work, not generic software with the sport's words pasted on top.
So I started talking to coaches. Really talking, about showcase weekends, the spreadsheets, the group texts, and the gap between what they know and what they can act on. Athlytix is what came out of those conversations.
